For nearly seven decades, Steelbridge Ministries has been a lifeline to New Mexico's most vulnerable population. What began as a humble soup kitchen has grown to support over 2,500 individuals in Albuquerque, including low-income families and the homeless.
Our community faces urgent needs for food security, clothing, hygiene products, housing, and support for addiction, trauma, and abuse. New Mexico's standing as the 49th-poorest state and the second-worst state for child food insecurity only amplifies these challenges.
Steelbridge operates at the heart of downtown, primarily through our Resource Center, where dedicated volunteers provide essential support through clothing and food distribution, and access to crucial resources.
