As you know, I have had the honor of serving as the VP of Development for Steelbridge for the past year, leading the rebranding effort that brought us from Albuquerque Rescue Mission to Steelbridge, creating a new, more authentic communication model for both donors and the community of Albuquerque and helping to create a new model of donor centric fundraising that allows donors of Steelbridge to play a more engaged role in the work being done for homeless and near homeless in our community. I am extremely proud of the work that we have done together to positively impact this city.
For 19 years, I have worked in our community, serving in a variety of roles for nonprofit organizations and churches and even co-created the GivingTuesdayNM initiative in 2015, to better communicate the power of philanthropy in our state. I have been a strong supporter of our community, serving on boards and in volunteer leadership roles across the city and am so very proud to call Albuquerque my hometown. God is now calling my husband, our two sons and I to Raleigh, NC for new work opportunities. I will greatly miss the family, friends and professional colleagues that I have come to know and love in our community.
Thank you for the work that you have been a part of here at Steelbridge. Many of you have been strong financial partners for many, many years, and I have been honored to work with you in our united goal of ending homelessness through the transformative power of Jesus. The work needed in our city is far from complete and I know that you will continue to make positive impacts in our community through your support of Steelbridge. Thank you!
